Happy Friday!!!  We have a birthday celebration this evening and Ryan's father is visiting.  So it should be a pretty entertaining weekend.  xx   

mud run, ninja style.

I participated in the Survivor Mud Run last Saturday with my girl, Gina.  It was our first mud run and definitely won’t be our last.  We had a blast!!  A hellish 5k run in the blazing sun with tons of challenging obstacles - mud pits, woven webs, legs of rubber, hurdles, cargo climb, dooms day hills, survivor slide,  monkey bars (which we had a difficult time doing with our mud-covered hands), a chocolate river (my favorite), log jams and more mud pits at the end.  We survived it… and with our ninja swords still in hand.  Turtle power!!!

I finally got my helmet for my scooter.   5. I rarely eat lunch outside during the workweek.  much needed time away from my desk and computer.   6. at the Kings game with friends.   7. our first BBQ of the year.  Ryan is a grill master.   8. the night started with sake and sushi... and ended with don julio real.  best.tequila.ever.

they really are giants.

Last week we sat courtside at the Kings v. Suns game.  The seats were amazing.  To be that close to the players was truly an experience.  Having our own waitress and private lounge wasn't horrible either.  We were totally spoiled!! 

My favorite moment was Marcin Gortat falling on us and our drinks spilling all over the place.  It was wonderful.  hehee.  Oh and the text messages from family and friends, when they caught a glimpse of us on TV, were hilarious!

Big thanks to my boss for giving us his tickets.  Unforgettable game!

Ry's idea of a masterpiece. Ingredients: bacon, gouda, hot links, cheddar cheese, swiss cheese, smoked turkey, mac n cheese and onion. Man v. Food would be proud.   10. My new scooter!!!!!   11. mani/pedi. V is for victorious or Vicki ;)   12. pasta salad with lemon cilantro dressing. perfect for Easter Sunday bbq with the family.

1. I made lemon garlic chicken for din din.   2. My Zara shipment arrived - goody goody gumdrop!   3. Our first time running together.   4. Super metabolism boost - green tea, mint & tangerine.   5. Celebrating my nephew's 10th birthday at Mikuni's.  He loves him some sushi.   6.  Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?  haha.  Lotto was up to 640 million so we had to try our luck, and of course, we did not win. Damn.   7. Fresh blackberry tea.   8. Rub my belly!  Mieka lives for her belly to be rubbed.  She will roll over on her back, throw up her paws and give you the sweetest little face in hopes for a rub.   9. Pork! The other white meat. Mmmmm, carnitas.   10. It was a tough game, but still a win.  3-2 and oh so pretty in pink.   11. I've died and gone to oreo heaven.   12. A sexy lamp I saw at dinner on Sunday night. Meow.
