a day to remember.

Well, last Thursday was an unforgettable day.  I filed a brief a week early, which never happens.  In fact, it was the first time it happened in all my 9 years in the legal field.  It felt glorious!  Unfortunately, that feeling was short lived.  After the filing, I made a quick stop to the ATM machine across the street.  It was a some-what windy day, but that didn't stop me from wearing my white pleated skirt.  Oh boy was that a bad decision.  It took one gust of wind to blow my skirt completely up and expose my knickers to everyone waiting in line.  I hope I never see those people again.  Haha.  I still *blush* when I think about it.

1. Ry and I in Comstock's magazine - March issue.   2. red dress, horse blanket (according to Ry) and some of my favorite black heels.   3. Lucy, Lucy!!!  my favorite store for running apparel.   4. haha, the man behind the honey-badger voice. he's hilarious.   5. picked up our bibs at lunch. Chompers and G Money. luv it!   6. city of trees.   7. carb loading.   8. Shamrock'n 1/2 marathon.   9. little behind on my reading. ahhh, lazy sunday.   10. drunken noodles and pad thai. romantical din din with the boy.

glimpses from the week 2/27 - 3/4.

1. stretching after a short night run.  week until the shamrock'n 1/2 marathon and i'm so not ready.   2. Sienna watching t.v. with Dids... that's love!  look at her paw, so cute.   3. my new running mate - pepper spray. you can never be too careful when running at night.   4. rosebud salve.  i can not live without this stuff especially during winter with my chapped lips and my raw nose.   5. newbies.   6. date night.  Dids and I ate at our favorite Mongolian BBQ restaurant and saw This Means War.  awesome movie!  fun relaxing night... just what we needed after Friday night's shenanigans on the party bus.   7. it was absolutely beautiful this weekend and we spent most of Saturday outside with our pups.   8. Mieka!!   9. best meats in town.  corti brothers grocery since 1947. one of my favorite local stores.   10. raspberry caramel goodness.
