In another life, I would make costumes for a living OR at least wear them all the time.
I love this time of year and can't wait to make and/or alter costumes for some upcoming parties. Here are some of my favorite costumes I’ve worn for Halloween in the past…
Princess Lolly
I made the crown, corset and giant lollipop. I couldn’t have done it without my handy-dandy glue gun. Crown and corset are made out of real candy. Nummy!
Poison Ivy
I also made the corset for this costume.
What I really enjoyed was gluing the leaves on my eyebrows. I did a trial run a week before Halloween, but it still ended up taking 25 minutes to glue them on, the day of. And it felt oh so fab-u-lous when I took them off later that evening. Ouchie! Hehee.
Vampire Queen
This outfit was actually a combination of multiple costumes - Queen of Hearts, Catwomen & Vampire. I had fun putting together this look and saved a lot of $$$ not buying or making a new costume.
First Halloween costume of 2011... to be posted soon.
I can't wait to see what you do...you're always so creative!!
