Oooo how I love doing crafts. 
Here are some of my favorites from this Christmas. 

  

 

styrofoam balls, flat wooden sticks, gold spray paint & a lil sparkle

 

large snowflake painted gold, 5 small white snowflakes glued behind for depth, smashed candycanes glued to the center & old ikea frame with matte board

 

homemade yarn pom-poms

 

instead of an ugly sweater, i decided to make this lovely headband. hehee

Cleopatra, the Egyptian Queen

mud run, ninja style.

I participated in the Survivor Mud Run last Saturday with my girl, Gina.  It was our first mud run and definitely won’t be our last.  We had a blast!!  A hellish 5k run in the blazing sun with tons of challenging obstacles - mud pits, woven webs, legs of rubber, hurdles, cargo climb, dooms day hills, survivor slide,  monkey bars (which we had a difficult time doing with our mud-covered hands), a chocolate river (my favorite), log jams and more mud pits at the end.  We survived it… and with our ninja swords still in hand.  Turtle power!!!

Happy Halloween!!! As I mentioned in a previous post {here}... in another life, I would love to make costumes for a living OR at least wear them all the time.  Thankfully, this year we celebrated Halloween twice!  Sooooo of course I had to wear two different costumes.  <big grin>
